Ovarian cancer is not often detected until it has spread beyond the ovaries, as the early symptoms of ovarian cancer are hard to diagnose. Though, there are a few early warning signs that you can pay attention to. In addition to these warning signs, there are a handful of symptoms of ovarian cancer that may present themselves.
As with any form of cancer, early detection can increase the chances of successfully treating ovarian cancer. If you experience several of these symptoms and they persist for at least one week, consider scheduling a visit to your doctor, to rule out or confirm the presence of ovarian cancer.
Ovarian cancer is known as the “silent killer” because symptoms are often so subtle; they just seem like routine or common annoyances. However, the difference is that they will occur almost every day and not go away. The trouble is that by the time symptoms are considered an issue; usually the cancer has spread and it’s too progressed to treat effectively.
These are some early warning signs you can look out for. But you need to combine your observations with other factors, as you don’t want to be jumping to conclusions too early.
